I'm not one for text to support images.
Being 'outside' the photo world, I don't need to commodify what I do.
I've also always thought it rather strange that photographers, who choose to express themselves visually and not via the written word (otherwise they would be authors, poets, philosophers) have to write about what they have done. To provide a meaningful frame for the viewer to nod wisely in agreement with a concept well-illustrated.
So here is the the perfect artist statement - with a nod to Harvey Benge...
"I've thought a lot about these images. They work in sequences. Make of them what you will."
